Greenways is one of Victoria’s longest established private retirement villages.
Established in 1976, the village was developed in three main stages over a number of years as additional land became available. With 122 accommodation units, over 400 residents have enjoyed the Greenways lifestyle since those early days and interest in the village continues to grow.
One of the first villages to be accredited by the Retirement Village Association of Australia (now Lifemark) the village meets the prescribed standards in respect of accommodation, village facilities, support services and, most importantly, management practices.
The continuity of key personnel at both management and board level is a unique facet of Greenways.
Greenways enjoys a very strong sense of community and pride in its long history and the lifestyle that has been created and sustained at the village. The residents, manager and owner are committed to maintaining Greenways' pre-eminence amongst Melbourne retirement villages and continuing to serve the Bayside community.
